3D printed products. What? (DDD)

The market for 3D printed products is still very new and 3D Systems Corporation (DDD) may be in the perfect position to take advantage of that with it's partnership with CBS Consumer Products to make customized Star Trek figurines and products. While 3D printers are still a bit too expensive for individual consumers, the savings and opportunities this technology provides for businesses has only begun to be realized.

Ironman gives added strength to DIS and VIA

With the summer beginning in earnest, people have started going to the movies. The biggest winner last week was Disney's (DIS) summer blockbuster Iron Man 3, with an opening weekend of $175.3 million. While analysts did expect some success from the newest Iron Man movie, it's a good show of the company's continued strength.

Pfizer (PFE): Too many Viagra jokes about limping sales


Pfizer (PFE) has a long road ahead as it's first quarter earnings report showed a fall in sales by 9% and even worse are the other disappointing trends in Pfizer's biggest products. Sales of Prevnar, Lipitor, and Viagra have all dipped this last year as similar but less expensive generic drugs compete with them. While Pfizer did profit in the last quarter, it was less than the analysts expected and the share price will likely suffer from that.

Netflix (NFLX) streaming growth

Netflix (NFLX) shares surged today as an earnings report came in announcing strong first quarter profits. This is attributed to more and more subscribers and it's original content such as House of Cards, Hemlock Grove, and the soon to be revived Arrested Development. The company also announced a new plan to allow streaming up to four videos on an account, up from the current two.
