Mineral Monday

All of Wall Street woke up bearish this Monday as the market took a noticeable dip. Even precious metals like gold and silver took a hit. Gold dropped 9.4% while silver dropped 11.3%.

There isn't any commonly agreed upon reason for these losses, especially when investors commonly tout precious metals as holding their value in turbulent markets.  Some analysts point to the problems with Cyprus in part causing the fall, while others look to China's less-than-expected growth, and even others point to monetary policies from the Federal Reserve.
